Bonbons

Bonbons are basically a chocolate shell with stuff inside.  This "stuff" is typically a ganache, but can also include fruit jellies, caramels, cookie layers, crunchy bits, or fruit pieces.  Sometimes it is just a caramel filling.  Sometimes there are multiple layers.  They are designed with flavor and texture in mind, and you will find they are not just sweet or not just salty, but bursting with the flavors in the name.
